Steven Small
Chief Executive Officer
Steve Small is a co-founder and CEO of ShaleOne. Steve is a seasoned executive and a serial entrepreneur having successfully launched, incubated and sold several ventures in the past. These include Yield Technologies, Inc., a real estate marketing firm that owned RenSentinel.com and RentSocial.com, Yield Dynamics, Inc. which provided revenue management and pricing solutions, Prism Systems, Inc. which installed election management systems for large jurisdictions, including Chicago, Phoenix, and the State of NC., and Edge Systems, a Federal government system integrator providing solutions to the US Courts, IRS, military services, USDA, Secret Service, and others. Steve has also served as Senior Vice President for RealPage, Inc. and CIO of AMLI Residential. Steve has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
Thomas G. Struttmann
Chief Operating Officer
Thomas Struttmann is a co-founder and COO of ShaleOne. He brings more than 30 years of experience leading projects, supporting M&A due diligence, and providing expertise on asset management and capital planning for top Fortune 500 companies, such as Caterpillar, Citibank, Freeport-McMoRan, Newmont, Barrick, PT Indkia Energy, EMIRSA, BNP Paribus, and Petrosea. Tom has helped reduce companies’ marginal costs by more than $700 million over the years. He worked as a global account manager at Caterpillar for 24 years. In 2000, he founded Yield Dynamics, a software firm that introduced innovations for the equipment rental industry. In 2001, he founded Struttmann Consulting, a global management consulting company for mining industry clients in the US, Asia and South America. Tom has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
Monty Pandey
Chief Information Officer
Monty Pandey is a co-founder and CIO of ShaleOne. Monty has over twenty years of management consulting experience in financials, supply chain, manufacturing and information technology. He has a passion for information technology and business, and is the founder and CEO of Panvisage Corporation, a management consulting and investment company. He has consulted at more than 30 companies in the last 20 years, including Halliburton, Oracle Corporation, Ford Motor Company, McDonalds Corporation, Hyatt Hotels, Abbott Laboratories, Acco Brands, Zebra Technologies, Eaton Corporation, Albertsons and Aramark Corporation. Monty has a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and is an alumni of the Chicago Management Institute (CMI) at the University of Chicago Booth School of Management.
